उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात्॥

हम उस त्रिनेत्र देव का यजन करते हैं जो सुगंधित हैं और पुष्टि के दाता हैं। जैसे ककड़ी अपनी लता से मुक्त होती है, वैसे ही मैं मृत्यु से मुक्त हो जाऊँ — अमृत से नहीं।
Translation · English
We worship the three-eyed One, fragrant, nourisher. As the cucumber is loosed from its stem, may I be liberated from death — not from immortality.
