मनसो मनः

श्रोत्रस्य श्रोत्रं मनसो मनो यद् वाचो ह वाचं स उ प्राणस्य प्राणः। चक्षुषश्चक्षुरतिमुच्य धीराः प्रेत्यास्माल्लोकादमृता भवन्ति॥
śrotrasya śrotraṃ manaso mano yad vāco ha vācaṃ sa u prāṇasya prāṇaḥ cakṣuṣaś cakṣur atimucya dhīrāḥ pretyāsmāl lokād amṛtā bhavanti

वह कान का कान है, मन का मन है, वाणी की वाणी है, प्राण का प्राण है, आँख की आँख है। इनसे आगे बढ़कर ज्ञानी इस लोक से परे जाकर अमर हो जाते हैं।

Translation · English

It is the ear of the ear, the mind of the mind, the speech of the speech, the breath of the breath, the eye of the eye. Letting these go, the wise — passing beyond this world — become immortal.
