असंशयं महाबाहो मनो दुर्निग्रहं चलम्।
अभ्यासेन तु कौन्तेय वैराग्येण च गृह्यते॥
asaṃśayaṃ mahābāho mano durnigrahaṃ calam
abhyāsena tu kaunteya vairāgyeṇa ca gṛhyate

निःसंदेह मन चञ्चल है और कठिनाई से वश में होता है। परंतु हे कौन्तेय, अभ्यास और वैराग्य से मन साधा जाता है।
Translation · English
Undoubtedly, O mighty-armed one, the mind is hard to control and restless; but by practice and by detachment, Kaunteya, it can be grasped.
